Dog's Cake Recipe



My dog just finished a wide pan shape of her dog's cake. I am proudly say that she liked it to bit. Days ago, I decided to make special cake for my dog for the first time in her 9 nine years of life. So I googled "dogs cake recipe" and here what I found:

The ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
(I substituted it with margarine)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup honey (optional)
Fyi, I added honey for extra nutrition and taste since there was no sugar added.
  • 1 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (preferred) or 1 cup white flour (alternate)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
And this is the steps of how to make this dog's cake:
"Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  1. Grease a 6 cup ring mold.
  2. Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and honey, if desired, in a large bowl; blend well.
  3. Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly.
  4. Sift together the flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture.
  5. Spoon cake batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
(Fyi, I baked it for 25 minutes only because I used manual oven and I could not adjust the temperature)
  1. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely."

Bahan-bahan untuk membuat kue:
  • 1 telur
  • 1/4 cup selai kacang
  • 1/4 cup minyak goreng
(saya menggantinya dengan margarin)
  • 1 sendok teh ekstrak vanilla
  • 1/3 cup madu (tidak wajib)
Fyi, saya menambahkan madu untuk nutrisi tambahan dan menambah rasa karena resep ini tidak menggunakan gula sebagai pemanis.
  • 1 cup wortel, diparut
  • 1 cup tepung terigu
  • 1 sendok teh baking soda
Cara membuat resep ini:
1. Panaskan oven sampai 350 derajat Fahrenheit atau 175 derajat celcius.
2. Olesi cetakan
3. Campurkan telur, selai kacang, minyak, vanilla, dan madu (jika diinginkan) ke dalam mangkuk besar ; aduk sampai rata
4. Campurkan ke wortel dan aduk rata
5. Ayak tepung dan baking soda, kemudian masukkan ke campuran wortel
6. Masukkan adonan kue ke cetakan
7. Panggang selama 40 menit
(Fyi, saya memanggangnya hanya selama 25 menit karena memakai oven manual dan tidak bisa mengatur suhu)
8. Setelah matang, biarkan cetakan selama 10 menit lalu pindahkan ke wadah lain agar dingin seluruhnya
